### I have released an OpenSCAD file on github that can generate any helix scaffold proceduraly, check it out: https://github.com/sgcderek/dsgc-helix-scaffold A set of 3D-printable scaffolds for 1542 MHz. Supports wire with up to 4.5mm diameter. Make sure to download a suitable stl to your application; NH1542L1 - 1542 MHz, left-hand circular polarization (offset dish feed) NH1542L2 - same as above, includes extra leg support NH1542R1 - 1542 MHz, right-hand circular polarization (direct reception from satellite without a dish) NH1542R2 - same as above, includes extra leg support Can (and should) be printed with no supports and a big layer height. Before winding, it is important to pre-form solid-core wire into a rough helix shape. If you wind solid-core wire directly into the scaffold there's a good chance that one of the legs will break. The holes on the mounting legs are 1cm in diameter, a washer can be used to mount it with smaller screws. If you want a modified version, let me know and I'll be happy to make it!
