This screen is precision-designed for easy attachment to a 1.5-inch PVC Fitting, making it seamlessly fit into my 2.5-inch bulkhead system. The design was created as part of a comprehensive biofilter set that also includes a 2.5-inch Bulkhead, Small bulkhead for pump input, motor mounting bracket, and plug. For optimal security, I recommend using A gel super Glue (available on Amazon at http://www.amazon.com/Loctite-1363589-4-Gram-Control-Adhesive/dp/B003Y49R7G/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1426365496&sr=8-2&keywords=gel+super+glue) to secure the two halves. To ensure a snug fit, thread one end of the screen into the bulkhead or other fitting and use rubber bands to secure the box end after gluing.
