This is my early prototype for a compound-planetary gear system. Honestly, I'm unsure if it will actually work and the model looks complicated enough that it could be a real challenge to 3D print, but maybe seeing something like this will spark some creative ideas - maybe someone looking at it will think, "that's not so great, I bet I can come up with something better."
