1/400 Scale Wedge Satellite Terminal

This is a continuation of different printable terminal designs that I will be publishing on this webpage. Originally this design was made to be at a 1/400 scale by default. This design, however, can be easily converted into 1/500 scale simply by printing each piece at 75% of the original size! The jetways on the CAD renders and screenshots are for demonstration purposes only, and are not included in the download. Narrow bodies? Wide bodies? Airbus A380s? This terminal can accommodate all of them! This design features easy to print pieces that offer a simple but modern terminal for your custom airport diorama. This terminal represents a satellite terminal with sharp angles and features, as well as customizable gate types and positions. The terminal has a minimalistic look and features different designs from around the world to more accurately represent a modern airport look. The bridges are extended from the main terminal, allowing for ground service roads to be placed next to the terminals and piers. The piers have tunnels for ground service to go from one side to the other, and the main building also has tunnels to allow ground service to pass through the middle of the terminal. I sectioned out and designed each piece for ease of printing, and the terminal design is also symmetric. Meaning, one side of the terminal uses the same pieces as the other, reducing the amount of STL files included in the download. The various bridge types can accommodate 1 narrow body only, 2 narrow bodies and 1 wide body, and an A380 bridge is also included for those who wish to have a triple jetway display. This design also uses the jetway connectors for the 1/400 JCWings jetways that I included in the first kit. Still, I have included them on this kit as well so that you only need to download this kit. Because many of the pier sections can be reprinted and repeated, you may customize the gate type and size, gate quantity, and even terminal length to fit your diorama's needs. There are many combinations possible with this design to represent various airport types!
