1/4" Square to 1/2" Socket adapter
thingiverse
I designed this 3D model for a project, aiming to avoid the need for multiple socket adapters. The purpose is to connect a low scale inch pound torque wrench with a 1/4" square drive to a large socket required for a yoke nut. This setup simplifies bearing preload (less than 10 in/lbs) adjustments compared to using a stack of adapters. However, it's not suitable for solid torque applications. For setting resistance in moving parts, this tool should be adequate. Print it with ABS, 100% infill, .20mm layer height, and active cooling fan throughout the build process. Use no raft or support structures, and remember that the STL file is in inches, so rescaling may be necessary for accurate printing.
With this file you will be able to print 1/4" Square to 1/2" Socket adapter with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on 1/4" Square to 1/2" Socket adapter.
