I required a rope tensioner to introduce some tension into existing guy lines for my canopy. I borrowed the thread design and knob from https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3690073. Thanks for sharing! I printed it with PETG, hoping it will withstand outside conditions for a while. I drilled holes in case I needed additional reinforcement by adding printed dowel pins or a top cap with pins to strengthen the frame. Fortunately, so far it hasn't required any extra support. The knob can be left on or removed as desired. My initial print in the second photo had some stringy parts; I had to tweak my retraction settings to improve the quality of the print.
