I have a super-cheap Black and Decker drill that's like the one on Amazon.ca (https://www.amazon.ca/Black-Decker-71-792c-Alkaline-Drill/dp/B0093C7TZA). I need to drive a socket with a 1/2" drive, so this adapter is perfect for the job. I initially tried printing it in a fancy way by standing it on its end, but that didn't work out. The layer adhesion was easily overpowered by minor misalignment between the drill and the load. I decided to print it on its side instead, making sure it would be nice and strong. Next, I tried printing it with very short supports, hoping they'd do the trick. Unfortunately, they didn't perform as well as I had hoped. To overcome this issue, I added a small piece underneath so Slic3r PE would let me print "in thin air." And to my delight, it turned out beautifully!
