I solve the problem of weak 3D printed bolts by redesigning the thumbscrew. Instead of using large heads, I make them 16mm long to accommodate a 16mm M3 countersunk bolt running through their center. This design creates a sturdy and reliable thumbscrew that resists breaking. Its compact size is surprisingly effective.
