I'm building a simple knob for a 1/4-inch bolt that secures my CNC machine's hold-down clamp. To create this knob, I first enlarge the hole with a 1/4-inch drill bit and then push a 4-inch bolt through it. Next, I tighten everything in place with a washer and nut before sealing the top with hot melt glue.
