Lots of shop organizing to do, and no pegboard, but a bunch of small chunks of 1/8" pressed hardboard, and 1/4" or 5mm plywood led me to the idea of making my own.  This simple little fixture is what came out of it. Easy to get the first row, hook the pegs over the edge of the sheet, with or without a spacer, and drill a grid. Then just move down, insert into the grid, and drill away in any direction you need!  Setup for ¼" holes on 1" center to center,  or 1/8" holes on 1". Holes and pegs alike have a 0.5mm clearance designed in, so its not a PITB to make it all mesh.
