This is a universal Z-axis spacer compatible with various 3D printers, including PowerSpec 3D X Dual Extruder, FlashForge Creator Pro, and Creator X, which features the updated platform enabling glass panes on the heated build plate. Initially designed for my PowerSpec 3D X printer, I realized that it lacked the same base as the original Creator X model. As a result, I couldn't use Z-axis spacers created for the latter. Noting the convenient screw placements in the newer design, I fabricated this spacer to take full advantage of those integrated locations. The unique vertical slot has a deliberate 2-degree taper, designed to maintain tight contact with the printer's base. Although secure installation is not mandatory, this feature is built-in for added stability, providing peace of mind without sacrificing performance. Later discoveries revealed that my PowerSpec 3D X printer utilizes the same platform as the Creator Pro model. Therefore, this spacer should fit seamlessly into place; however, without access to a physical FlashForge Creator Pro, further testing would be needed. I eagerly await feedback on usage experiences and discoveries regarding compatibility with additional printer models.
