1/4-20 Hex Bolt Check
thingiverse
Calibration print for inserting a Home Depot 1/4-20 hex bolt, possibly repurposed as a thumbscrew. I'll use this to determine the offset size needed for precise insertion. Once I have that, I can create my own thumbscrew. Tinkercad's hexagon sizing isn't very precise, so I used this online calculator: https://rechneronline.de/pi/hexagon.php Here are the measurements: - d2 is the width (flat to flat distance) - d is the length (point to point distance) If you want to create one, you can use these measurements for a precise proportion. Mouse dragging is not very effective for this task. This calibration print was made with Tinkercad and can be edited online at https://www.tinkercad.com/things/lGdmy08P6sG
