1/35th workable tracks for Ferdinand tank hunter early to mid. Kgs 62/640/130
cults3d
Workable tracks for 1/35th scale model kits. This is now the March '23 updated version with new hinges, higher level of detail and overall improvements. Photos still show the initial release, renders the newly updated one. This track pattern sees the introduction of a new secoundary link without guide horn. It's in its shape already very similar to the Elefant track pattern but still uses the early-style geometry at its core. Use these for your post-Kursk Ferdinand builds and for the Bergetiger (P) while it was still at the factory's proofing ground. This track pattern was already present on some vehicles pre-kursk, making "mid" more or less meaningless. The one surving Ferdinand (s.Pz.Jg.Abt 654) in Russia has some of these links in addition to the early pattern for example. Fit was tested with Dragon, Amusing Hobby / Das Werk, Italeri and Zvezda. Should fit all modern toolings. There are 3 options for joining the links together: 1st. I've included printable pins in half length with fully detailed ends. 2nd option is a click system that doesn't require any pins. Fair warning, it does highly depend on how well you dial your exposure and post cure process in. 3rd option: The traditional wire method, just use copper motor core wire around 0.3 to 0.4mm diameter. It is easiest method, specially for older printers and standard resins. Links are included blank and pre-supported (cad designed supports): Pins are included blank, pre-supported and as a pattern of 100 in both "head-up" and "head-down" variants.
