1/35 scale HESCO barrier for Diorama
thingiverse
For those unfamiliar the HESCO barrier is a canvas and steel mesh box that gets filled with sand/gravel which is used for either flood control or blast protection in military installations replacing the traditional sandbag. The key difference is these are filled by machine (front loaders, etc) which means a huge wall can be laid in minutes vs many hours of hand filled sandbags. To make diorama scale ones we need to print this model along with a few simple supplies (I am assuming you have the paints you need (they get painted a dull greenish/brown) Supplies: - 2” (50mm) fiber wall board tape - 1.25 (32mm) regular beige masking tape - Some small amount of CA glue for repairs - Beige or brown sanded grout (powdered) to match the earth in your diorama (or fine sand and scenic glue)
