NOTE: THIS IS NOT A FULL KIT. TO MAKE THE MODEL SHOWN IN THE PHOTO, YOU WILL NEED LOTS OF MODELBUILDING EXPERIENCE, THE PARTS FEATURED HERE, AND 2 DONOR KITS: LINDBERG 1/32 LAIRD-TURNER METEOR WILLIAMS BROS 1/32 SEVERSKY P-35 Here you will find parts to upgrade the Lindberg 1/32 Laird-Turner Meteor model. They are not enough to create the whole aircraft, but just add to parts from the Lindberg kit to correct inaccuracies. See diagrams for details on how to incorporate these parts into the kit. These parts include: New corrected wings, printed as upper and lower halves. Corrected cowling shape in front and rear halves, with an exhaust ring piece. Corrected forward fuselage pieces, including louvers, fuel filler caps, and oil cooler air scoops. Inner cockpit tubing structure. Instrument panel. Wheel half to be printed and glued together to form whole wheels. Separate 2-piece carbuerettor scoop component. All pieces were puttied and sanded to remove 3D print lines. To complete the model as shown, I used the Lindberg kit plus engine and propeller parts from the 1/32 Williams Brothers Seversky P-35 kit. I also made a new canopy using the "heat and squash" method. Rudder and horizontal stablilizers were also heavily modified to change shape and make more accurate fabric ribs. Custom decals were used as the Lindberg decals are inaccurate.
