UPDATE 01.14.19: I've Resized It, As Initially It Was Almost Twice Its Optimal Size. Seven towers form the Red Sands group at the Thames Estuary's mouth. These towers were once connected by metal grates that formed walkways between them. In 1959, consideration was given to refloating the Red Sands Fort and bringing it ashore, but costs proved too high. In the early 21st century, threats emerged that the fort could be demolished; in response, a group called Project Redsands was formed to preserve the fort. Currently, this is the only fort accessible safely from a platform between one of its towers. This is an updated and edited version of the Maunsell Sea Forts. More information on this fort can be found at: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maunsell_Forts#Red_Sands_Fort_(U6) For better details, try here: http://www.bobleroi.co.uk/ScrapBook/CityReunion/FortFanatics.html I extend my gratitude to CJonesBuild for performing 99% of the heavy lifting on the main fort. The liferaft is resized from the 1/100 Vosper. Next, I will add the guns.
