1.25in to Male C-Mount Adaptor

This Adapter seamlessly accommodates most compact astronomy cameras within a 1.25-inch holder. The male thread is precision-cut as a C-Mount thread, adopting the standard 1-inch 32tpi UN-2A thread form. To ensure smooth fitment when 3D printed, the thread has been designed with a lower tolerance than usual. This specific Adapter draws inspiration from the nosepiece that comes with the Celestron NexImage 5, but incorporates an internal chamfer and eliminates the ribbed wall texture to facilitate effortless 3D printing. The SolidWorks part was meticulously modeled in SW2020 SP0.1.
