1/25 West Wrecker Body. 1/25 scale West Wrecker body. Designed to fit Moebius truck bed, but I`m sure it will fit just about any pickup frame. West was a truck body manufacturer in California, a direct competitor to Holmes, and just as popular on the west coast. Much used in movies due to the manufacturers close proximity to the film studios. Most famous one is probably Cooter's blue and white 67 Ford in 'Dukes of Hazzard'. For fitment, cut a portion of the rear of the frame off to make the wrecker body fit. Note: The diamond plate pattern on the bed is not part of the design. Use styrene diamond plate sheet (Plastruct) for this look if desired. Update 9/9/22: It was brought to my attention that the 5 bed parts are very thin, and can easily break when taken off the supports. Additional files have been added to the file where these 5 parts have been thickened and strengthened. This way you have a choice of which bed parts you want to use.
