Remixed the original 1:25 RC car, scaling all parts almost perfectly - close enough, considering the constraints of the project. Next, I'll be uploading the specific files used for printing the Challenger body tailored to this toy model. A few printed tabs are needed to secure it properly; my own version holds on with foam tape. I utilized 2.5mm screws throughout the entire vehicle and opted for a 2.5mm threaded rod as the rear axle. Bearings were incorporated in the rear, but I need to verify the exact size before moving forward with completing this project. The tires are ready for finishing the model, although printed tires aren't ideal for driving on most surfaces. Included modifications are an edited frame and control arms. The edited control arms accommodate a 2.5mm screw through the front tires (drilled out to spin freely) and fit snugly into the control arm for a budget-friendly way to allow them to spin freely. The edited frame is primarily a cleanup of the original model that removes the forward servo mounting hole to clear the Challenger body. The "custom steering rod" section remains blank, allowing users to drill a custom hole to match their servo steering horn or utilize the stock one if preferred. To accommodate this larger body, the original Challenger body needs to be scaled up approximately 103.2%. I'll provide my edited version soon, which has been scaled correctly. Most of the holes for this model should be drilled with a correctly sized drill bit; they're slightly undersized when printed, ensuring a secure fit without compromising plastic integrity. There's ample space on this car to hold two 18650 batteries if you don't mind the added weight. As I finalize files, I'll upload them promptly. Feel free to ask questions, share comments or corrections - your input is valuable! Please share your creations and let's see what amazing things we can come up with together! I discovered a Pull car at my local Walmart that has tires and rims almost perfectly sized for this model, available for $9.00 - not a bad deal!
