This is a compact 1.25-inch helical focuser designed specifically for use with Newtonian telescopes. The helical barrel features a deliberate looseness, necessitating the drilling of a setscrew hole on the side of the base that must be threaded to accept an M8 screw. An M8 nylon bolt is then screwed into place, serving as a tensioning mechanism and securing the focuser firmly in position when required.
