Update 10/16/19: Small update, added a bit of spacing to the hinge to adjust alignment, changed the "tooth" that snaps into the blaster to clear just a bit better but it needs support now, and added some grooves for z seam alignment to make printing a bit cleaner. There's only one step file now for the 42.2mm version and then an F3D file that will cover all three sizes and variations and has some sketches premade for easy ID adjustment like just cutting sketch10 downwards to get 42.3mm or 43mm ID. The absolver version may get some adjustment as well later on.

Update 5: Uploaded some new files that have another slightly different ID for fitment options for the 1.25" fittings. Also reuploaded all previous files with some naming updates.

Update 4: New files with smaller ID breeches have been uploaded, including steps for modifying. Files names have changed accordingly and I'll outline them below.

Update 3: After getting ahold of some more 1.25" fittings, it seems that there can be some variance in their OD. I'll be uploading an alternative breech shortly with a slightly smaller ID so you can choose depending on the fittings you have on hand.

Update 2: New version of the breech added just for my Nerf 7 Shot Absolver Shell for 1.25" PVC Fittings that has cutouts in the breech in order to hold the capped version of those shells up against the breech gasket for a good seal, and also to keep from shooting an entire shell across the room like I accidentally did. Use this version just for the specified absolver shells since it's unlikely anything else will fit this specific version.

Update: V2 versions of the short breech added. The locking tab has been extended .5mm and sloped 10° to try making it print slightly cleaner and need less cleanup.

Designed to be used with "Marshmallow Fun Company" breeched-style "V2" marshmallow blasters in order to adapt the breech to basically any type of barrel you could fit on a 1.25" PVC coupler setup. It uses the same screw as the stock breech, so installing this only takes unscrewing and reusing a single screw.

The locking tab allows this adapter to be used as a breech just like the original, although closing and opening it will be slightly stiffer due to using a solid locking tab. Alternatively, you can put a ziptie through the loop in order to lock the breech closed if you plan to just use it as a coupler for rocket barrels, large absolvers, or long barrel setups such as hoppers or RSCBs. Currently it's only a friction fit to hold fittings and barrels in, so for a breeched setup you may wish to more securely attach your intended barrel.

The inside is 43mm compared to 42.418mm in 1.25" fittings in order to provide some slight tolerances for printing. The locking tab and hinge tabs both have some wiggle room if you need to adjust scaling a little bit. The pieces are designed to not need any supports, though you may need some slight filing/sanding on the front/bottom edge of the locking tab since it needs to be mostly flat. I printed my test pieces at .25mm height and no supports with no issues. I recommend a minimum of three walls/tops/bottoms and 25% infill.

Included are the following files:

marshmallow_43ID_1-25in_breech.stl - The piece as seen in the pictures, 31mm breech length. Aside from the locking tab all other angles are 45° minimum for easy printing. 43mm ID for loose fit.

marshmallow_43ID_1-25in_breech.step - The same piece as the stl above in step for easier editing. Has all the chamfers and fillets as the ready-to-print version. 43mm ID version

marshmallow_43ID_1-25in_breech_for_modding.step - The barebones pieces needed to function without any of the chamfering or drafted faces, and as a result is noteasily printable without modification. 43mm ID version.

marshmallow_42-3ID_1-25in_breech.stl - The piece as seen in the pictures, 31mm breech length.
