1:24 Scale Residential Model Objects

These items are designed specifically for use in a highly detailed 1:24 scale (1/2-inch equals 1-foot) architectural model.\nThey are custom modeled directly from the objects found in my personal home, which I designed and built myself from scratch.\nHowever, these objects are common household appliances and construction components that can be easily incorporated into almost any design.\nMore architectural objects will soon be available to download.\nTo learn how to build your own 1:24 scale home model, including what other objects I plan to design for my model home, please download the PDF file provided below.\nThe actual photos of my home are used strictly for reference purposes in relation to the model.\nMy 3D model of my home is highly accurate, with a precision of within 1/64 inch in most areas. 2-7-2012: Additional progress pictures have been uploaded, showcasing the project's current status. I took photos of my TV screen, pellet stove window, and engraved concrete entryway, then printed them out on photo paper to scale, cut them out, and glued them into their respective places. The result looks fantastic! To build your own 3D home model: Download the PDF file for basic instructions on how to get started.\nDownload the residential model files that you wish to use.\nPrint them out using a 3D printer or other suitable method.\nUse your creativity, patience, and any relevant skills to bring your design to life.\nFor more information on construction techniques and geometry calculations, refer to online resources or seek guidance from experts if necessary.\nAs a last resort, feel free to ask for assistance, and I'll do my best to provide guidance. DESCRIPTIONS OF FILES: 1) Shower base: This is a standard 60-inch shower base with an additional wall to accommodate the custom Master Bath arrangement found in my home. Cut it off or remove it as needed.\nThis file prints exceptionally well! 2) Toilet: A typical toilet design, which I printed three times using the MULTIPLY function without issue, except for the tank.\nThe base of this toilet is relatively small, and the tank hangs off the back of the base.\nTo print successfully, experiment with different settings and speeds. 3) Tub/shower unit: A standard 60-inch tub/shower unit complete with a grab bar and soap dish. This file prints flawlessly! 4) Pellet stove: An unconventional but included item in this collection. It prints exceptionally well and is a popular supplemental heating device in my region.\n 5) Oven/microwave: These two items were designed together, as they are commonly used in conjunction with one another. The print quality is excellent. 6) Refrigerator: A standard side-by-side refrigerator/freezer unit with a recessed water/ice receptacle and separate handles that can be glued on later or discarded.\nTo achieve faux stainless steel, use aluminum HVAC duct tape and carefully cut around the handles and ice/water receptacle. 7) Sound system: A basic model of my sound equipment, featuring a 400-disc CD changer at the bottom, followed by a 600-watt digital THX-certified surround-sound/stereo receiver, satellite receiver, and Blu-ray player.\nPlease do not attempt to plug it in after printing, as it will not save you $6,000 and may result in hospitalization. 8) TV: A common 42-inch flat-screen TV with a separately printed mount. There are grooves on the back of the TV for proper mount alignment, and an arrow pointing up indicates the correct angle.\n(The angled facet on the face of the TV is the bottom.) More files will be available soon as I have time to create them.\nI also welcome requests and will do my best to fulfill them.\nWith extensive libraries of various building components designed using CAD software, I can print just about anything I need.\nAdditionally, I possess several CD-ROMs containing construction-related files from Kohler, Anderson, Pella, and other prominent manufacturers, which I can convert to STL format for your use.\nPlease provide me with adequate lead time, as I am a busy individual.
