1/24 MAZ 537 D12A-535 38,8L V12 Engine
cults3d
1/24 scale Soviet era 38,8L V12 diesel engine with stand alone air cleaners. This is an engine derived from WWII Russian tanks, however this exact version was found in the mammoth MAZ 537 truck made from 1962 till 1990 (last pic). I recommend you use the following link for an excellent pictorial reference to building this truck:http://www.primeportal.net/trucks/gabor_fodor/maz-537/ This would be great for display, custom truck, or a model of the 537, or whatever you can think of. This engine dwarfs the Allison and Merlin V12s, and will not fit in a car or a pickup. Picture 4 is of the actual engine, picture 6 and 7 shows the engine installed in a model I have scratchbuilt. Note: I made all pulleys without belts so you can make your own any way you want. This one was a tough one to model, as every reference engine had slight differences from each other. This is only as correct as the reference pictures online, I apologize in advance if not 100% correct. Please use pictures as part of description. Check my file for more MAZ 537 parts. Picture 5 is my scratchbuilt model with the 3d printed parts offered here on Cults.
