My grandson received a 1:24 scale German Tiger Tank for Christmas, but the driving wheels soon failed due to insufficient support material surrounding the hex extrusions that the driving axles fit into. These axles were chewed out and made circular after a short time. I used Autodesk Fusion 360 to learn how to draw gears, and after making many adjustments, printed a set of replacements in PLA using a Prusa i3 Mk2. Print Settings: Printer: Prusa i3 Mk2 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: 0.2mm Infill: 40% Post-Printing Cleanup Because of the overhang on this design, I had to clean up beneath the top sprocket with a sharp knife. How I Designed This Autodesk Fusion 360 I measured the existing sprockets with a vernier caliper and then drew this in Fusion 360. I modified a few measurements to make the teeth align with the tank's tracks. As a novice when it comes to 3D drawing, I learned a lot by putting this together.
