I'm rebuilding my old car, which has clocked a couple thousand laps and is suffering from worn-out front axle bushings. Before ordering a new Carrera axle, I decided to try creating an axle carrier that can utilize bearings instead of the traditional bushings. Luckily, I had some 1/8 inch bearings and a matching 1/8 inch axle lying around in my spare parts bin, ready for me to work with. What do you think? If someone makes this design, please share it!
