1:200 Mikoyan-Gurevich MiG-15 Fagot This plane surprised western nations when in the 1950s it proved to be largely superior to almost all fighters of that time; only the F-86 Sabre and a high-level training were able to recover the advantage during the Korean conflict. The two-seat variant of the MiG-15 served as a transition aircraft for pilots destined for the MiG-15 but also the MiG-17. The MiG-15 UTI practically always did mount the external wing tanks because the fuel tanks in the fuselage had been reduced to make room for second seat.
