$1.20 Fidget Spinner
thingiverse
This takes a single 608ZZ skate bearing. The three pods are filled with four US dimes each. This exercise pauses the print and inserts the dimes. Determine which layer needs pausing or insert the dimes as they become visible. Coat the outside of the top dimes on each stack with enamel clearcoat spray to ensure better filament adhesion. Alternatively, use eight layers at the top to fill any gaps. Your spinner is now weighted with $1.20 instead of bearings, which typically costs more. NOTE: In the pictured spinner, I changed filaments twice during the print to achieve a nice pattern, but it's not necessary for this design.
