1/2" SharkBite Fitting Measurement and Deburring Tool
thingiverse
decided I would try and make my own SharkBite measurement and deburring tool since I didn't want to spend over $20 to buy the commercial one. This is for 1/2" tubing and allows you to mark the 24mm depth for 1/2" sharkbite fittings and includes a small blade to deburr the outer edge of the pipe. I used the small Olfa blades for the cutter. After printing slide the blade into the slot while it is still in the knife handle. It will be tight so you will have to work it down to the bottom carefully. If you use a light coloured filament you can hold it up to the light to see if the blade has reached the bottom. You should also be able able to see the blade protrude from the side when it is in place. I made the height of the blade holder about 9mm which should allow two sections of the blade fit exactly to the top.Once you know the blade will sit properly in the slot slide it out and snap off a 2 section piece. Then carefully slide it down into place using some needle nose pliers. I use a small M3 screw to hold the piece from sliding out.Note: I have not had a chance to try this out yet so it really is a 'Work in Progress' Measure and check your parts before relying on it.
