This is a custom-made suppressor designed specifically for barrels constructed from standard schedule 40 1/2" PVC pipes. I created it primarily as an experiment to see how effective it would be in reducing the noise level of my compressed air rifle. As expected, this device significantly minimizes the sound produced by the rifle, although at the expense of reduced power output. In addition to its use with air rifles, this suppressor also proves to be quite effective when used with potato cannons that have appropriately sized barrels. To achieve this noise reduction, I incorporated baffles on the inside of the suppressor to catch and dissipate excess air. Furthermore, I enlarged the bore of the interior to accommodate larger ammunition sizes, a feature that becomes particularly useful when dealing with lower-quality printers that may produce bores slightly narrower than the intended design. It's worth noting that this redesign also ensures that larger ammunition such as large ball bearings will no longer get caught in the suppressor. However, there is still a possibility for wadding to become lodged within the device. **Important Safety Disclaimer:** I accept no liability for any injuries or harm resulting from the use of this object or any other item it may be used with.
