1/2 Inch Radiator Cap
thingiverse
1/2 inch blanking cap for radiators. I created this blanking cap while changing a towel rail, and I didn't want to leave the ends of the TRV / lockshield open because water would ruin everything. The cap has 1/2 inch BSP thread on its internal diameter, so be careful not to overtighten it or you'll split the layers. The best way to print this is with the cap facing down. I haven't tested this under pressure, but there's no reason why it wouldn't work - just wrap ptfe tape around the male thread end because that stuff is amazing and cheap. I couldn't find one on here so I made this, hoping someone else finds use out of it. It was printed at 0.2mm layer height on Cura, taking approximately 30 minutes to print (quicker than running to ScrewFix!).
