1/2 Inch and 3/4 Inch Threaded Electrical Junction Box Plugs

This is a threaded plug designed specifically for electrical junction boxes, available in two sizes: 1/2-inch and 3/4-inch. Both versions come equipped with a convenient hex thumb screw, making it easy to tighten or loosen the plug without the need for a large flat-head screwdriver. To ensure optimal performance, I highly recommend applying dielectric grease to the threads of the plug. This simple step will prevent water from entering your electrical box and compromising its integrity. In order to meet National Electrical Code (NEC) requirements, it's essential to print this plug using flame-retardant filament that's also resistant to UV rays. You can achieve this by selecting a UV-stable filament or applying a UV-protective coating after printing. When printing the plug, use a layer height of 0.2mm and three perimeters for optimal results. While infill percentage may not be crucial in this case, I used 15% to add extra stability to the plug.
