1/2 inch (12mm) tubing straightener
thingiverse
This is used to straighten rolls of aluminum tubing used in compressed air installations. Given their high cost, purchasing one for a single project can be a pricey proposition, making printing your own a more sensible solution. The wheels are mounted using 10mm hardware components. I opted for 40mm long bolts since they were readily available in my inventory. Since PLA is sufficient to create a functional bearing without the need for additional bearings, no extra components are required when printing with this material. Applying a drop of oil can also enhance the performance of the bearing. To assemble the straightening tool, clamp the mounting plate firmly in a vise and then simply push and pull the tubing through the device, resulting in a perfectly straight tube.
