I decided to create my own version of the "Killer Nameplate" by Tony_D, found on Thingiverse at https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1401393, without having to visit the store and buy PVC pipes. I was also frustrated with cutting straight lines and consistent lengths, which often ended in failure. Perhaps this made me a bit lazy, but using Tinkercad allowed me to design and print my own supporting 1/2" PVC pipes from scratch. Additionally, I took the endcaps into Meshmixer and merged them together to create a functional connector. I successfully printed the entire pipe on my CR-10 3D printer, with 308mm proving to be the ideal length. However, some users may not have a build volume that large, so I provided alternative print settings by cutting the pipe in half, thirds, and quarters. Please note that the pipe itself is slightly larger than 1/2", so if you're using this for another purpose, keep that in mind. The rest of the parts can be found at the link above, with full credit going to TonyD for his original design and my adaptation of the "joints" into a single piece. *** Update: I was initially dissatisfied with how the joint worked, so I designed an entirely new part in Tinkercad that I'm more pleased with. For a better fit, use Joint V2.
