1/2" EVA Foam Bevel Cutter V2
thingiverse
Useful for cutting precise 90°, 60° (30° if cutting from the back side), and 45° cuts with 1/2" EVA foam. I designed a similar tool based on Niezam's simple foamboard cutter. The design allows for easy cuts with minimal material waste. I also have two additional cutters: * A 5mm EVA Foam Bevel Cutter that makes precise beveled cuts. * A 10mm EVA Foam Bevel Cutter that is ideal for thicker EVA foam. The attached files include several variations of the cutter design: * 0.5in_foam_bevel_cut_V2_Window.stl: This version uses minimal material and hardware, making it easy to assemble with M3x5mm screws. * 0.5in_foam_bevel_cut_V2_Window_nuts.stl: This version has slightly wider holes for using M3x8mm+ screws with nuts. * 0.5in_foam_bevel_cut_V2_NoWindow.stl: This design has a hollow center but full/flat sides, making it ideal for specific applications. * 0.5in_foam_bevel_cut_V2_safety_block.stl: An optional block to safely hold the cutter when not in use. To assemble the cutter, you will need: * M3 screws (x2), with lengths of 5-10mm working well * A utility blade, specifically a trapezoid-shaped kind with two slots on top.
