You can make an almost indestructible arrow case that fits most 3" ID pipe using a few simple materials. First, get a 1/2" dowel rod and glue it to the center of the pipe to space out the top and bottom caps from hitting each other. Then, use 3" sch40 pipe for the end caps on both ends - any pipe with a 3" ID will work just fine. It's easy to find cheap pipes, caps, and dowel rods at most hardware stores. This setup makes a nearly unbreakable arrow case that can withstand heavy abuse. For extra protection, add some padding on each end and wrap a rubber band around the arrows for flights or other heavy-duty use. Don't spend $60+ on a single dozen arrows or bolts when you can make a reliable case to keep them safe in transit or storage.
