Sprinkler hoses accumulate damage over the years when they come into contact with the ground. Before disposing of them completely, it's possible to try running hot water through them and manually clearing out the holes to get the nozzles working again. For a hot water connection, a shower hose is a suitable option. The hose usually has 1/2" barbed fittings on both sides. When you remove the retaining ring of a 1/2" Gardena hose adapter, a 3/4" external thread is often hidden underneath. I designed an adapter from 1/2" AG to 3/4" IG. It was a quick task using Fusion360. Good luck with cleaning out your sprinkler hose. The environment thanks us for reducing plastic waste.
