The old rubber hands broke off? Drop Oritoy a message and they would send you a pair. It may take sometime, but it will get to you eventually. In the meantime you could print out a pair of articulated hands and this adds a whole new dimension to expression and toy photograpy...You could almost feel the angst... WARNING NOTE: There are 2 Design Variations. For the Without Pin Design, you may want to print the test pieces first then test the fit. Vary the scale on either piece to adjust to best fit and tightness. Once that is dialled in, you could print the slot set and tab set with the desired printer testing. I have tried them and it is the way to go! if the joints are loose, add nail varnish to the joint or a drop of water based acrylic paint and wait for it to dry. To embark on the With Pin version, you would need a pair of cutters and brass pins diameter 1.5mm. you would need to cut the pins and insert them into each digit. I made the joints really tight, so you might need to file or sand a little for each digit, to fit just nice. I use a pin vice to clean up the holes with a 1.4mm bit. Use a paper clip (0.8mm diameter) or a smaller diameter pin to align the digits before you insert the 1.5mm pins. The ball end has a hole where you would insert a 2mm pin. This is to ensure that the joint in rigid and reinforced. you would need to sand the ball joint a little to insert it in, or you could soak the arm/write area in warm (60 degrees celcius) water before attempting to insert it in. There will be blood and there will be cursing but I guarantee you immense satisfaction when you complete this painful build. I have tried this version many times and i love the robustness of the pin design...but it is a bitch to assemble.
