This is a work-in-progress 1/16" Ball link designed for use in R/C, robotics and animatronics projects. Despite thorough research, I'm struggling to achieve a satisfactory print quality. The cup portion prints acceptably, but the ball itself consistently produces a blobby mess, leading me to suspect that its small size may be the culprit. I've experimented with various print settings, but none have yielded a usable result. If you have experience printing intricate objects, I invite you to share your expertise and provide guidance on how to improve this design or suggest optimal print settings in the comments below. Print Settings: * Printer: QIDI Tech 1 * Rafts: No * Supports: Yes * Resolution: .1mm * Infill: 50% * Notes: I've printed with high-density and resolution settings, but unfortunately, the ball remains a rough, irregular shape. Any assistance or suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Design Overview: The design is based on the Great Planes model part GPMQ3843. While I couldn't replicate their metal parts' quality, I thought this could serve as an intriguing experiment in creating DIY robotics components.
