Im a complete Novice at CAD and 3d Printing. I've been looking for a alternative to action bases and found soozafone's design which was very good. Though with they way my prints were coming out there were some weaknesses in the pins due to the layers and orientation. I changed the size of the locking tooth a little so there is a better fit when printer gets sloppy. I also noticed that when the arms are printed on their side they make the teeth sloppy. So, I cut the ends off the arms and added 2 holes. This allows us to print the pin on its side and the gear end on its back. Then I made a new arm extension piece to fit the ends.
