December 11th, 2017 - I uploaded "Nacelle_Inner_Left_0manifolds.stl" and "Nacelle_Outer_Left_0_Manifolds.stl", which should have zero non-manifolds in them and look great in both Cura and Slic3r Prusa Edition; to print the Right nacelle, simply mirror these two models. September 23rd 2017 - I uploaded Roll_Bar_Back.stl; zero non-manifolds in Blender September 22nd 2017 - I uploaded Roll_Bar_Front.stl, with zero Non-Manifolds in Blender September 21st 2017 - I uploaded (Saucer_Top_1 and Saucer_Top_2), re-meshed in blender. In both models, there is one non-manifold that I cannot get rid of. In Blender, it states it is a duplicate vertex, but it isn't. Version 1 has the roll bar supports, while version 2 does not. September 5th 2017 - I re-uploaded the bottom saucer in blender. There are two non-manifolds in the model, but they do not seem to affect anything when slicing; currently working on the top saucer. August 29th, 2017 - I moved this model back into the Work-in-Progress classification because I'm re-working it using what I learned from cutting the Intrepid Class. I found a lot of Non-Manifolds and am currently working on the Bottom_Saucer piece as it was the one with the most. July 26th, 2017 - I uploaded an alternate version of the top saucer for ships like the "Lantree" that did not have the roll-bar so now this variant can be printed if desired I just found and fixed an issue with this model; apparently, I used the wrong source for the size of the ship. The measurement I was basing on was 277 meters for the length, but I found another source stating that 237 is the length. The 237 length fits well with the Constitution class and the Constellation Class (the saucers for these are basically the same model with a few additions and modifications). The correct Scale model has been uploaded. This is a remix of the Miranda Class starship uploaded by nd4spd1919; I've cut it up into 8 pieces for printing. I have already successfully printed out the rollbar and the engine nacelles, and am currently printing the top half of the saucer, but I don't think I have enough filament left over to complete that print. So, I'm going to be loading this up as a Work in Progress until a shipment of Filament arrives (hopefully around Oct.19) Cura's Estimation of Print time and Print time so far: Saucer Top 5Hr 3min Saucer Bottom 5Hr Rollbar 1Hr Engines 2Hr 24Min Print Settings: Printer: Anet A8 Resolution: .1 Infill: 5% Notes: I did something a little bit different with this remix. The top and bottom saucer sections include the supports for the roll bar and the nacelles, while the nacelles have a small groove in them so that they can be connected to the supports more easily; the roll bar is in two pieces, with a small groove at where the phaser emitters and the supports meet to connect the pieces together.
