Here's a simple DIY solution for making tow straps for 1-14 RC vehicles. Made using this helpful instructional video by PNW RC: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NKLXH47w7ls 3mm thick materials are used for construction. A 3mm border is added on each side of the strap. The slot width is set at 10mm, accommodating a 3/8" ribbon. A 2mm gap is maintained between slots to prevent damage. Slots are spaced 1.5mm apart for optimal performance. A new version with rounded edges has been added to prevent ribbon fraying.
