1/14 Excavator - Vulpa 505
cults3d
EDIT: 13th November 2023 - Added new Trackpad (grousers) files for more options on the excavator. These tracks are for the 06B chains- 44mm, 53mm and 64mm width. Download the "Vulpa 505 chain trackpads.zip" file to get them. 8th November 2023 - Added files to eliminate the Steel chains for the Tracks, this adds an option to use 3d printed tracks instead of buying the steel chains. This adds completely new Running Gear for the Vulpa505, including four different width track-grousers to choose from. Download the file "Vulpa 505 3d Printed Tracks.zip" to get the files! 8th November 2023 - Added files to 3d print your own SLEWRING. No more looking for the steel-version online. This is great news! Download the file called "Vulpa 505 3d Printed Slewring.zip" to get the files! 2nd October 2023 - Added DXF files for the arms. 17th september 2023 - Finally added the missing mirrored RGmid file as well as updating the old one. 4th September 2023 - Modified the Motor mounts for BOOM, STICK and BUCKET motors. This should help keep the motors from pushing the bushing out of its socket. Download the Vulpa505STL V3 sept23.zip file to get them. 18th July 2023 - Added a new Bucket called the Arbite bucket. This is a bucket that works great in packed material, and it also works great in bigger rocks and gravel. 2nd April 2023 - Added a wide cleaning bucket (same width as the standard bucket). Make your own hobbygrade Excavator in 1:14th scale. This is a fun and challenging build for everyone who enjoys building models. The machine is fully electric so you wont have any issues with oil. By purchasing these files you'll get a partslist, and a complete step by step buildmanual (81 pages) and ofcourse all the STL files. There are 4 buckets to choose from, and a ripper. This has been a very big challenge for me to make availiable for everyone, I have tried my best at making all the parts as user friendly as I possibly can. I even exported all the STLs in the best orientation for printing WITH premade brims, so you dont have to. For those who purchase this, Thank you! And I wish you happy building!! You can also watch the entire build on youtube, and see how I built mine here: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLdh4mhBIIM2I4EqC78-ZdnILx_nYhAB7C This project is a combination of 3d printing, and metal works. So you will need tools for cutting metal, and drill holes. I will say that this is a very timeconsuming build, so youll need to be prepared to use some time on it. You will need alot of different screws and hardware. I am still working on a complete list. I will upload it as soon as it is done. IMPORTANT NOTICE: I do not show you how to setup your controller or how to put the electronics together in this guide.
