A scale model of the SpaceX Falcon 9 - Block 5 rocket with Crew Dragon was designed using Fusion 360, and the Fusion and Step parts were included to allow for easy modifications or additions. To make changes or add new features, just download the files and upload your updates along with some photos. - Length: 63 cm - High Details Included - All Stages separable without needing any supports - Fully Tested and Ready to Print - Landing legs and Grid-Fins are deployable This model was printed using a combination of three colors of PLA on an Ender 3 with a 0.2mm layer height. Important Note: To print the Grid-Fins, use no top or bottom layers and only infill pattern. ------------------------- UPDATE! 09.07.2020 I scaled up the model in Fusion to fit a 1:96 scale, making it approximately 72cm tall. The resized STL-files are available as a zip file. Since the parts are slightly larger, they should be just as printable without any issues. ------------------------- UPDATE! 10.07.2020 The stage 2 vacuum engine was updated to make it more realistic. ------------------------- UPDATE! 08.12.2020 A wall mount was added, allowing for easy clipping and unclipping of the Falcon 9. This feature is now available for both the original and 1:96 scaled models. ------------------------- UPDATE! 05.01.2021 An optional fairing with payload adapter has been added to replace the Dragon spacecraft. All parts have been test printed, and it's recommended to print the fairing upright without supports. If sticking issues arise, a brim or raft can be added for assistance.
