I remixed thing:3775599 because I wanted to have my own trailer ramp/gate for this trailer and wasnt having luck finding the one I wanted. This trailer gate can be 3d printed on a 220x220x220 bed but you'll need to download the trailer gate "NO TABS" File and then will need to also download/print both (Left) and (Right) trailer tabs afterwords. Once printed you'll simply hot glue the tabs into the notches left for them on the trailer gate itself. If you have a build plate larger than 220x220x220 then you can just print the "Full gate (WITH TABS)" version of the STL and it will be ready to use and mount your hinges to right away with no need for gluing. The last file is the hinges for the trailer gate..You will want to separate the hinges in your slicer program before printing because if you don't then they may get stuck together! Once the hinges are printed with some distance from one another you can then put them together by hand and work the hinges back and forth until they move smoothly. You will need very small "laptop" like screws to hold the hinge together. I used 4 short m1.4 screws (one screw on each end of each hinge which holds them together nicely Print Settings Printer Brand: FlashForge Printer: Adventurer 5M Pro Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: .15 to .25 for the hinges as they are SMALL Infill: 15% Filament: Sunlu PLA+ Black Notes: For the hinges buy this small screw kit from amazon like I did if you don't have any this small LINK: https://www.amazon.com/Nickel-Plated-Notebook-Computer-Phillips-Electronic/dp/B08ZMZ1FSR/ref=sr_1_3_pp?crid=3BGJHRG6VT3N7&keywords=micro+screw+kit&qid=1706637399&s=industrial&sprefix=micro+screw+kit%2Cindustrial%2C83&sr=1-3 **I believe I used the m1.4 screws (The shorter ones to hold the hinges together and the slightly longer ones to screw the hinges into the trailer frame and trailer gate itself as shown in my photos** Be sure to knock down your resolution by .5 or so when printing the hinges as they are very small but do work quite nicely! To secure the gate to the trailer itself, drill two 2.5mm holes where the tabs on the trailer gate meet the trailer frame (From there you can thread in two m3 bolts and the hinge tabs should slide over the bolts sticking out from the trailer frame which will lock the tailgate in the up position. (My hinges were tight enough to where I wasn't worried about it as my gate stays up all on its own) Category: R/C Vehicles
