1/10th Radiator and working fans for your super scale trucks
cults3d
I made this specifically for my Version 2 Rat truck and realized people could use this on any custom scale build. Uses 2 M20 sized motors and printed blades to simulate a real radiator and fan setup. Check the pictures to see how to wire up the motors. I suggest the slower wiring setups as its only for display but the faster options are there for same rotation and opposite rotating blades. for the cooling tubes You can use 12 or 14 gauge solid wire in either Aluminum for best look or copper for a more vintage feel. You may need to bore the holes out for the 12 gauge wire. So once your print is cleaned up(clean it better than I did) you may need to file or scrape a little where the motors go. The motors should slide in by hand but still be tight and not fall out from vibrations or being knocked. I put on some Aluminum Duct tape to simulate and frame of a real Radiator but used copper wire for the internal tubing(I know modern mixed with old) but my truck is a rat so anything goes really. For the in and out I used some wire that is the same size as the ports. Stripped a few mm of insulation off and CA glued it into the hole. I will be posting a link here for the youtube video once its up.
