1/100 Jagdtiger deconstructed
thingiverse
Since my clumsy slicer tends to apply supports too thickly, I altered this design to print treads separately without support. I also never liked how various Tigers printed the rear, so I stripped it off to allow detail printing. Printed this way, the rear is much cleaner and takes paint and washes better. The hulls included will need support due to the overhang for the tread. As an experiment, I broke the hull down to print in two pieces so no support is needed; that's in the "2 piece" zip file. I still recommend using support for the rear plate as it helps the tailpipes print. After removing the support, I reinforced the tailpipe with thin super glue to make them a bit sturdier. Also use support for the barrel and attach it to the hull with a piece of filament in the hole. Note that barrels can be drilled if you have a pin vise; they look great! I included an open hatch hull and a tiny printable hatch for commander versions. The commander in the original doesn't print well for me, so I used a figure I had on hand.
