Hello fellow Thingiversers! Up for your consideration is this practical earth anchor, perfect for everyday use with a winch line. Feeling stuck? No worries at all - use it to recover your vehicle from even the most difficult terrain. Go ahead, get trapped in tight spots or on rugged ground - this durable winching accessory will always keep you going. Ridiculously easy, incredibly effective Settings and Instructions: You're advised to print this with an Infill of 100%. Settings are: Printing with a 1 or 2-shell setup. Layer height: .2 or better. No raft is necessary (but raft is optional). You could even scale it up for a custom fit on your truck - the bigger, the better! Use ABS instead of PLA if you can - ABS will perform much better in harsh conditions. It's more durable and provides greater deflection. Everything is set up to print both components on one tray or separately, giving you complete freedom over colours or painting as you please. I used Tamiya chrome silver model paint (X11) along with a light white primer coating. After many trials, the results are still pristine. All it takes is simple assembly - the parts slide together with ease. Alternatively, glue them using acetone or just leave them separate - that's up to you! In all honesty though, this anchor is so robust in action, swapping parts will hardly ever be a necessity and certainly not due to any issues from this anchor design itself.
