1/10 scale CBU-87 Combined Effects Munition for Freewing A-10

This is a 1/10 scale CBU-87 Combined Effects Munition designed for use with the Freewing A-10 model aircraft. The munition features a specially crafted pocket to accommodate the mounting plate, specifically Thing Number 2725747, developed by ShadowVFX. Based on online photographs and scaled measurements of the actual length, the design has been adapted to fit within a 150 mm cube size printer. To ensure proper assembly, both parts must be rotated 180 degrees before printing. Infill density was reduced from 15% to 3% to minimize weight, while maintaining structural integrity. The final painted weight of the completed munition is approximately 53 grams. Notably, neither part requires build plate support for successful printing.
