1/10 scale BLU-1B Napalm Canister
thingiverse
Here's a scaled-down version of the BLU-1B napalm canister for the Freewing 80mm A-10 Thunderbolt II, condensed to fit within a 150 mm cube printer space. To make this design work, I reduced the Infill density from 15% to just 3%, significantly cutting down on weight. My printer uses an hourglass shaped fill pattern by default, which helped keep things simple. The fuselage pylons on my A-10 are actually made of balsa wood and use hardware designed for Freewing's 90mm F-16 model, specifically the part number FJ306110916. One minor inconvenience is that you'll need to flip the end pieces by 180 degrees before printing. Unfortunately, I haven't found an easy way to automate this process when exporting STL files yet.
