1/10 Scale 22re turbo kit
thingiverse
Over the weekend, I found myself staring at my 1/10 scale rotary engine sitting right next to my 1/10 scale 22re. Suddenly, a memory popped into my head - I had seen a boosted 22re at the track one day. This sparked an immediate urge to research turbo kits for the 22re. My search led me to the LCE performance low pressure turbo kit designed specifically for the non-turbo block. Next, I began designing the exhaust manifold and header pipe. After running a few test prints, I made sure my 1/10 scale rotary engine turbo was compatible with both the header and the engine. With just a few minor tweaks, this beast of a project was finally complete. I used m2x4mm to attach the turbo manifold to the exhaust manifold. The bearings for the 2mm turbo shaft are precisely made from 5x2x2mm materials. Everything else is held together with 1.5mm self-tapping screws. What I love about this project is that it adds a little bit of uniqueness to my motor, setting it apart from others in its class.
